Thanks Nick, that would be great! The release schedule for GNOME 3.8 (which Cheese follows) is on the GNOME wiki:

Looking at the schedule, I would say that a deadline of either 3.7.91 or 3.7.92 would be appropriate for the libgee changes, which corresponds to early March 2013, although of course earlier is better.
