Error in Makefile line 2533

Hi all,

I am getting an error when compiling the git repo after using the "autogen.sh" command with "make" command . I get the following error

"Makefile:2533: *** missing separator.  Stop."

the line 2533 is "@APPDATA_XML_RULES@" 

when this line is removed it compiles fine can someone explain/fix this issue
