cheese effects

Hi there cheese devs,

I discovered your nice program some days ago and like it alot...

I would like to play around a bit with the effects,
and would like to add some new effects...
so could you please give me some hint's how they are realized
in your program and where to change them...

I already read, that these are realized with gstreamer,
so have you programmed these effects on your own,
or are they some part of the gstreamer framework?

Some entry point for me would be nice,
so I can play around a bit, and hopefully
get some enhancements back to your project...
