Issues with UVC based camera

Evening all,

I have packaged Cheese for openSUSE and it there are a fair few users of it which is great.  The problem is that issues have arisen after the 0.3.0 release - 0.2.4 was the last release that worked without issue for me and many others.

One particular issue is with webcams that use the UVC driver.  The following is taken from a user using 2.21.5 with a Logitech Quickcam 9000.  Any help would be most appreciated.
