California 0.4 on Ubuntu 14.04?

Hi All,

Someone has emailed me privately to inquire about installing California
0.4 on Ubuntu 14.04. From what I can gather, the default software
libraries available in Ubuntu 14.04 are not recent enough to build
California 0.4. And I also see that the Yorba PPA for "Trusty" does not
include California as an installable option.

Is there anything that I'm missing?
