pilot sync problem

hm, i just installed the helix gnome-pim and gnome-pilot
packages, and started syncing. the date book seems to be
syncing fine, but i can't figure out where the calendar and
todo data is going; it's certainly not
~/.gnome/user-cal.vcf. and i can't find any place to specify
a file, in the capplet or otherwise.

output from gpilotd run at the console below. uh..
--activate-goad-server?
