Re: [BuildStream] Migration of development mailing list

Hi all,

After an extra long grace period for the migration, this mailing list
is now officially closed.

I have setup an automated bounce message for any incoming messages
which reads:

    =================================================================
    Dear BuildStream subscriber,

Please be informed that this mailing list has been moved.

To subscribe and participate in the new mailing list, please visit
    the following link:

    https://lists.apache.org/list.html?dev buildstream apache org
    =================================================================

The documentation on BuildStream master and bst-1 branches (to be bst-1
related docs to be updated on the websites in the next bst-1 related
release), plus the website repository itself, the wiki and our topic
line in our IRC channel, have all been updated to refer to the new
mailing list also.

In the future, please direct any posts to the new list.

Best regards,
    -Tristan

Hi all,

As another step in our project's migration to ASF[0], we are now
migrating our development mailing list to the new hosting.

Please subscribe to the new mailing list by sending an email to:

    dev-subscribe buildstream apache org

I did this today and simply put the word "subscribe" in the subject
line, and then you get the usual user friendly response which
instructs
you to reply for verification purposes and finally sends you a
welcome
message.

Once subscribed, you can post messages to the new list with the
following address:

    dev buildstream apache org

And view archived discussions here:

The current list

In one week's time, the current list will be set to archive mode, and
a
custom bounce message will be added:

"These are not the droids you are sending email to."

The bounce message which will include instructions to subscribe to
the
new mailing list, so anyone who has missed out on this message will
be
well informed if they ever post to the old list.

Over the next week, we will be replacing references to this mailing
list with references to the new one (on wiki pages, websites, docs,
etc).

Thanks to Justin for creating the new list for us :)

Cheers,
    -Tristan
