Hi all!
Sorry for the delay.
Technically, It's my first talk about it, but I'm interested in
this so I've just subscribed to the build-brigade list. First of
all, I'd like to know how's the state of this team, if is in
active or not, etc.
Well, yes, the group is active. After all the jhbuild-buildbot
integration is there, and the rest is about getting the buildbots
running. Although it is true that here:
http://build.gnome.org/
There are too munc red.
(And yes sorry, it is still pending that "send a mail for each build
failure task")
API, give me some time for to compose a full detailed and
constructive answer about this, we have been using buildbot for a
similar solution for our distro-o-matic system at our company
(Emergya) for many years. We use this solution for to auto-build
packages and for to generate OS images (ie: Guadalinex, LinexSP,
etc), but for debian-like distros and of course without obs.
That's the reason I want to dive into our gnome-obs integration
environment, what we need and then, to compose such a constructive
answer.
Ok.
Frederic, did you finally do something about this for the gnome 3
live images?
if not ...
Frederic and Vincent, how do you actually are packaging each
recent released tarballs, by hand? If it's like this, maybe we can
do something for to do that only by listening for new
tags/tarballs. make sense?
And for to finish, maybe it's a good idea to move this thread
completely to the build-brigade list and keep release-team list in
peace, isn't it?
Done, I removed release-team from the CC.
