BTW: what is the current support state for cdrtools?

Does Brasero still only support the features from a 6 year old cdrtools-2.01
or is there meanwhile support for the 2.5 month old cdrtools-3.00 that 
massively enhanced compared to the old version?

If the first case is true, are there plans to support the new features in 
special in mkisofs?
