   Hi!

Another info: this crash is not specifically caused by the debian packages.

Ok, that needs investigating and ideally a unit test that catches crashes like this.

Note that you can test different beast deb package versions by specifying the exact version number, e.g.:

aptitude install beast=0.9.3+git5575-0ci15.1

To see which versions are available, take a look at the Debian package file names in the version dirs here:

https://bintray.com/beast-team/deb/beast/view

E.g. go into beast-team / deb / beast / 0.9.3+git5568 ยป Files:

https://bintray.com/beast-team/deb/beast/0.9.3%2Bgit5568/view#files

And note that Debian uses <PKG>_<VERSION>_<ARCH>.deb:

  beast_0.9.3+git5568-0ci14.1_amd64.deb 20 hours ago 1.9 MB

So we can also install:

aptitude install beast=0.9.3+git5568-0ci14.1

Now, neither packaged version crashes for me, I'll take a look at master in a bit.
But because I cannot immediately reproduce the crash, any debugging help you can
provide would be great.

   Cu... Stefan
