When trying to install BEAST, my compiler complained about something in the
files called "bsescminterp.c" and "bsescminterp.h" under shell/ , something
like an undefined type. I can't paste the messages here for my gcc put them
in Chinese :P, but it did mention
bse_scm_glue_rec_get() , bse_scm_proxy_print() and signal_closure_marshal().
And the compiler said that "scm_catch_body_t" in the last function is not
defined.
My environment:
Fedora Core 5 -- i686 version
gcc (GCC) 4.1.1 20060525 (Red Hat 4.1.1-1)
libgnomecanvas-2.14.0-1
gtk2-2.8.20-1
guile-1.8.1
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
this is bug #364464:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364464
i.e. compilation against guile-1.8.1 is currently broken due to some
guile changes. i'll look into it as soon as i get my hands on a
newer guile version.
And beast-0.7.1
