Thanks for the response. I haven't tried it let, but will let you know
if there are any problems.
Previous error with compilation was:
libgxk.a(gxkutils.o)(.text+0x458f): In function `gxk_zfile_uncompress':
/home/david/programmes/audio/beast/beast-0.6.1/beast-gtk/gxk/gxkutils.c:3166:
undefined reference to `uncompress'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[4]: *** [gxktest] Error 1
Mind you, this was after I dug around and found the patches for the
optind fix, and other patches after some creative googling, which
weren't really mentioned on the Beast website with the downloads.
Hope this helps, but I guess the problem's been fixed anyway.
