[Banshee-List] Banshee 2.6.2 no sound

Hi all,
I have Banshee 2.6.2.installed on Mint 17.3.
Last week this problem started.
When i double click a song in My Music or Play Queue the song is grayed out
and i get a grayed out X next to the song.
This is something ive never had any problem with over the years of using
banshee.
Any suggestions appreciated.
