[Banshee-List] Display the audio indicator menu using keyboard shortcuts

I'm on Xubuntu 14.10

When clicking on the audio indicator applet in the Xfce4 Panel (speaker
icon), it displays a menu that shows the volume slider and what music
banshee is currently playing.  I would like to set up a keyboard shortcut
that would toggle the display/dismissal of this menu.  Is this possible?
