You could have success making your player available on Chrome OS. There is
not one decent music player, Google play music only allows uploading files
on the cloud to listen to local files. The built in player is of no help
sorting albums and songs or making playlists. File manager not even able to
display songs of an album in numerical order

Because of the price, chromebooks and chromebox are selling

Not possible to play cd's or dvd's

Chrome OS has been made up with linux
