Hi, this is all I get:

$ banshee --debug
** Running Mono with --debug   **
[1 Debug 21:15:32.916] Bus.Session.RequestName 
('org.bansheeproject.Banshee') replied with InQueue


I just tried renaming my music folder from /media/NTFSDrive/Music to 
/media/NTFSDrive/Music2, set that as my music folder in Banshee and 
Banshee could scan it without any problems - however this doesn't seem 
a good solution as I use so many other progs with that folder in linux 
/elementary luna) and windows
