[Banshee-List] Can you recommend an MP3 player device?

My wifes iPod [which has always been a awful bear to manage via Banshee;
and always only been managed by Banshee] finally died - dead stick.
Queue rejoicing.

Can anyone recommend a simple portable audio device that works really
well with Banshee [openSUSE x86_64].  Moving audo files to the device,
deleting audio files, playlists, adding and removing audio books, etc...
