You might want to look at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/banshee/+bug/879328.

The equalizer requires that the gstreamer0.10-plugins-good package be installed. If you already have that installed, try disabling the last.fm extension as a work-around (as reported on that page).

All is great except that there is no access to the equalizer.

Shows on the dropdown but it is greyed out.

Any thoughts?
