Isn't GStreamer 0.10 unmaintained these days? I don't think the GStreamer devs
are going to pay any attention to this bug as long as we haven't ported Banshee
over to 1.0.

I don't think this is GStreamer-0.10 related, as I'm getting it with Banshee master, which uses GStreamer 1.0.

Do we have more info about this problem these days?
