Can you start banshee from the terminal with this command:

cd /; /Applications/Banshee.app/Contents/MacOS/Banshee --debug 2>&1 | tee ~/Downloads/banshee-debug-log.txt

and see if there are any error message when you press the next/previous button?

Hi,

I am using a retina Macbook pro and using Mountain lion (10.8.3), Banshee
2.6.0. The next/previous, play/pause keyboard buttons are not working. How
can I fix this?
