Re: [Banshee-List] Build 2.6.1: No package dbus-sharp-glib-1.0

Any chance that you used the "--disable-gnome" flag for the ./configure step? If so, there is a bug in 2.6.1 that will give you exactly your error.

Hello,
just fetched the tar ball for 2.6.1 and I'm trying to build now on
openSuse 12.3.
Unfortunately install stops with:

...
checking for DBUS_SHARP_GLIB... no
configure: error: Package requirements (dbus-sharp-glib-1.0 >= 0.5) were not met:

No package 'dbus-sharp-glib-1.0' found

So I tried:
sudo zypper in dbus-sharp-glib
Loading repository data...
Reading installed packages...
'dbus-sharp-glib' is already installed.
No update candidate for 'dbus-sharp-glib-0.5.0-8.1.1.noarch'. The highest available version is already installed.
Resolving package dependencies...

So what now?

Klaus

How many Microsoft engineers does it take to screw in a light-bulb?
None.
They just redefine "dark" as the new standard.
