Hi Cito,

The mailing list you initially posted to is actually for the development of the gnome project's web sites. Gnome itself is a desktop environment with many different programs (many with their own version number).

I've sent this mail also to the banshee-list, which is the mailing list specifically for banshee. Hopefully someone there can provide more up to date information.

Looking at the download link now, there do seem to be a 2.4 version for windows.

Hi, there is no download link for windows version 2.6. Only a 2.0. So I installed 2.0 and after the launching the program for the first time, it said there is an update for 2.5.1. I opted to download and update and it failed...
