[Banshee-List] Banshee 2.4.0 Notification Area Extension not working with XFCE 4.10

Running Fedora 17 x86_64 XFCE spin w/ XFCE 4.10. I have installed
xfce-notifyd, and it is working properly. Thunderbird and xfce-volumed work
fine. Banshee can't start its extension though. This is the line I find in
the banshee --debug that seems to help. I'm just sure what it means in terms
of how do I fix this.

[1 Warn  11:37:25.023] Extension `/Banshee/ServiceManager/Service/__nid_47'
not started: Could not load type
'Banshee.NotificationArea.NotificationAreaService' from assembly
'Banshee.Not    ificationArea, Version=2.4.0.0, Culture=neutral,
PublicKeyToken=null'.

Also, I have the proper dbus and notify-sharp libraries installed, as i
simply installed banshee using 'sudo yum install banshee'
