[Banshee-List] Banshee 2.4.1 Equalizer Option Greyed Out

I am running a new installation of Banshee 2.4.1 in Ubuntu 12.04 and have all
available add-ons installed. When I go to the View menu there is no way to
select Equalizer (the selection box is greyed out). Ctl+E will not launch
the equalizer either. Has it been taken out of this version, or am I missing
a specific library, or ???
