Hi, I'm Using 2 different releases of Ubuntu in my Note book and Desktop. 11.04 and 11.10 both has Banshee as default music player but the one in 11.10 doesn't work properly. How can I degrade the it to the older version which is in 11.04?

I have an iPod mini. Banshee recognizes and connects to the device,
lists the contents. But while I used to be able to manage the device
reliably current versions of Banshee have numerous problems:
- Copying media to the device frequently fails. Sometimes it works, but
other times the files seem to transfer, but afterwards aren't available
on the device.
- Editing playlists is completely inoperative. I can edit playlists but
the changes are not syncronized to the device. Deleting and creating
playlists also does not work.
I've reformat the iPod in order to 'start over'. But the behavior
remains the same.
