[Banshee-List] Banshee doesn't see mp3 players

I have a Creative Zen (original) mp3 player, and a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10
Android phone. I don't often need to use Banshee to transfer things to them,
but I have before (both have worked), and I can't now. Both players are
recognised by my system (Gentoo, 3.0.6 Kernel), and I can use Amarok to
transfer things to them (insofar as Amarok can be used to do anything), but
Banshee doesn't see either one of them at all.

Suggestions? I'm running Banshee 2.2, and I've turned on the mtp USE flag,
and I've got both MTP and Mass Storage support turned on under Preferences >
Extensions.
