I like the idea and wanted to see an implementation of this already
years ago, but I'm not sure if it should be under the cover of banshee
and if it should run on mono, as many people are still opposing the
idea of mono on the linux desktop.

I posted the idea on ubuntu brainstorm in 2008, the people were not so
enthusiastic, or they just didn't find the idea.

Somebody also came up with the idea to use something like Tracker, but
nothing evolved.
Also I would like to see a GSoc Project finished in the banshee
community, a point, in my opinion, we should make more clear and
follow more clear.
