Re: [Banshee-List] Feature Request: Better Album Cover Chooser

I second both ideas: a more elegant method for album art selection, and the option to save the selection to tags.
Elegant, of course, meaning more options, presented more clearly.
I would recomend a separate dialog window, perhaps as a default-on extension, that displays more in-depth cover system.
Simply right click on an artist, track, or album and select art for individual albums, within the artist right-clicked on, or the current filter otherwise.
The dialog should have the album metadata at the top, including composition artist, artist, album, and current art/cover. Below should be a grid of possible others, and their source (sources should include images within same-directory as tracks). There should also be a "browse" option. Lastly there should be a back/forward for albums opened within the chooser.

Mockups/ideas?

I agree, and I also would like to see that the album art is saved inside the ID3, it's really annoying to find out that I open my song somewhere else and there's no album art
