I have the fuze plus working in mass storage mode using m3u playlist. The fuze has two bugs that you should be aware of. First is that it doest currently support directories in playlists, so folder depth must be set to 0. Second is that the fuze only reads the playlist files when they are new, so playlists must be renamed every time that they are changed. Finally, banshe has a bug that saves the playlists reletive to to the music path instead of the player root so the playlistpath must be set to /. I make my changes to the system wide .mpi file so I can submit changes upsteam, but I can put together an .is_audio_player that will work for it if you need.

Hi there, I have a Sansa Fuze + and I'm trying to sync music to it and add a playlist. I have it connected in MTP mode but it seems to not be using MTP to create the playlists. It puts a .m3u file on the player, which the player cannot read so while I can see it from the player it appears empty. Does anyone know if there is a solution for this?
Ubuntu 11.10
Banshee 2.2.1
libmpt 1.1.0
mtpfs 0.9.3
sanza fuse+ with firmware updated last night / current
Thanks.
