Re: [Banshee-List] Playing videos in banshee 1.7.4

Oh, I probably should have told the list that I solved it somehow. In my travels through the Linux universe I ended up installing a ton of different things, both gstreamer and not (albeit all from the repositories). I got fed up one day at video editor OpenShot not starting, removed anything I could think of that would be associated with it, and started from scratch as far as video codecs go. At some point I must have removed something that was hindering playback (or added it) but there was so much that was removed and re-added it would be impossible to tell what exactly did it.

Banshee video playback now works for me and I can probably chalk my problem up to user error/ignorance at the codecs.

I have a similar problem except I accidently clicked NO when it asked me
download or install the plugin and now I can't find a way to get it. Banshee
now only plays the same stupid song over and over..
