[Banshee-List] synchronising iPod

I am running Banshee 1.6 on Mandriva

it has recently stopped synchronising my iPod, it appears to transfer/delete
tracks but then does not synchronise - I have even left it overnight

this seemed to be after I experienced an error when I tried to transfer an
incomplete file that I had downloaded from the BBC

can I reset the program or how can I fix this?
