I can confirm this bug.
More description:
It only occurs if music/video has been played since the initiation
of banshee, and play pause functionality is that of the radio stream
(which banshee is "stuck" in the 'Connecting...' phase).
a tempory work around is to completely exit banshee [Media -->
Quit], execute it [Applications --> Sound & Video -->
Banshee Media Player] or [Sound Menu --> Banshee], and then run
your chosen radio stream.
This bug affects radio stations, eg .asx (and posibly other) files.
I tested this bug on http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r1.asx
(BBC Radio 1), which wont work outside the UK, so youll have to find
something else to test on.
I have not tested the LiveRadio extension.
