A question was asked about tracking the mono version used. I was just
pointing out that doing so is pointless as this information can be
inferred from the version of ubuntu used.

The 6-12 month lag in getting mono versions on ubuntu will only become
an issue if banshee develops against new language features or
libraries not yet available on the mono version shipped with ubuntu.

If the banshee project doesn't mind not being able to benefit from
improvements in mono until they are 12 months old(worst case) then
it's not a problem.
