This is covered in this bug:

I wrote a patch some time ago (wrt Rating, not playcounts yet, but help
is welcome), but it's outdated and needs review. I'll try to update it
soon, but maybe it's too late for it to be included in 1.6 (then it
would go to 1.6.x).
