Hello all,
It would be nice if Banshee removed deleted files from the library on a
library scan.
Would this be also possible?
I am getting angry when I have to check if the cross sign appears and
remove
hundreds of files manually, after one another...

a great suggestion. Could you please file an enhancement
bug please?
Thanks.
Bug filed. Thanks for your confidence and encouragement.

I also wrote a small utility in Lazarus which removes the non-existent
files from the Banshee library.
If anyone is interested, I can translate the user interface or the
source code into English (actually, I wrote it for myself so I used
Czech in the code and in the interface).
This utility however has any sense until the Banshee team implements the
auto-cleaning feature only :-)
If you can create tools like this why don't you try to give it a go and
fix the bug instead? :)
Andres
It's because of the development tools I have experience with. I didn't
even think of it but you encourage me to dive into mono, C# and GTK# :-)
So, maybe, if I have the time… :-)
