[Banshee-List] iPod does not sync when /tmp is full

Hello,

I'm running Banshee 1.6 Beta 3 (1.5.2) on Ubuntu 9.04 (linux-gnu,
x86_64). I have an 89GB MP3 collection that I've imported into the
application. I have an iPod classic 6th gen, 120GB. I've been able
to load and sync individual artists to the iPOD, but when I try to
load my entire collection, nothing is transferred to the iPod. I get
the "Adding <num> of <total> to IPOD" messages, but when it's done,
there is no sync activity. On the xterm from which I've launched
the application, I get lots of these messages:

---[start]-----
[Warn 21:30:44.630] Failed to set cover art on iPod from
/home/steve/.cache/album-art/witchfynde-cloakdagger.jpg - Disk full.

I checked /tmp and sure enough, it was 100% full. It only had a few
MB of free space to begin with, so I extended the volume by 1GB and
retried syncing my collection, with the same results.

Some questions:
  1. What are the disk space requirements for synchronizing content
     to an iPod with Banshee?

  2. I have more space in another directory other than /tmp. How can
I tell Banshee to use a different directory?

  3. Does anyone have any suggestions on things I could try to
     workaround this problem?

Thanks,
