I think the issue is follow bug:

Running Banshee 1.6 Beta 2 (1.5.1) on Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala. When I
connect my IPOD, it opens a browser window, but nothing in Banshee itself,
therefore I can't load my IPOD. Any ideas as to what I may be missing?
