As a banshee translator I think the obvious place for community
extensions translations to be made would be where banshee is.

Banshee uses damned lies for translations and GNOME translations teams
translate Bansgee. For consistency QA, community extensions should be
translated by the same persons/teams. The easiest way to get that to
happen is to make them available in the same infrastructure as
banshee. I understand that community extensions are not hosted at
gnome.org so I know that probably it's not possible right now to use
damned lies to translate CE.

Transifex is a possible alternative but then again it might not be
easy to assure consistency between banshee and CE translations if it's
not the same people translating banshee and CE.

One more note: I can't agree with the choice of launchpad because of
it's BSD licensing of translations.

Please also remember that translators translate many modules (I
translate more then 20) and it's not practical at all to use several
infrastructures.
