I do suspect it's something specific to Rawhide -- probably either the
current development versions of glib or gtk, since I had an identical
problem with both 1.4.3 and 1.5.0 a few weeks ago, while the same
1.4.3 build works fine on Fedora 11. The Ubuntu packages are for the
stable 9.04, rather than the upcoming 9.10, I suppose?

In any case, I figure I'll just keep clutter enabled for now, since it
seems to at least mask the problem, and keep Banshee usable on
Rawhide.

Would the clutter dependency be updated? Requiring clutter 0.9 is not
useful anyway, as it's an unstable series not meant to be shipped
anywhere, and developers who have clutter 0.9 installed could just
easily install 1.0 on their own if they need to, or get it from their
distributions.

Thanks,
