The following command should handle it: wget 'http://keyserver.ubuntu.com:11371/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x4874D3686E80C6B7' -qO- | sudo apt-key add - By the way, just so you know, the unstable PPA has shifted from https://launchpad.net/~banshee-unstable-team/+archive/ppa to https://launchpad.net/~banshee-team/+archive/banshee-unstable, so you'll have to fix your deb string in sources.list appropriately to: deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/banshee-team/banshee-unstable/ubuntu jaunty main -- Kind regards, Chow Loong Jin
