I'm trying to have an old X10 remote run a player. Does Banshee
have any more advanced way to control other than what is shown by
banshee --help-playback?
I currently have a Perl script that issues commands when keys on the
remote are pushed.
I'd like to be able to queue up songs and playlists, play, pause,
stop, etc. and also skip forward/backward some number of seconds.
A number of commands seem to fail:
$ banshee --set-volume=100
Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentNullException: Cannot handle a
null message; maybe the bus was disconnected
but this works:
$ banshee --next
Thanks,
I'm running 1.4.3 on Ubuntu Janty.
