Banshee seems to hit the hard drive every few seconds (according to the light
on the PC). There is not any swapping going on; the CPU load and memory are
well below capacity; I have banshee running on a few different machines with
different specs (upto 2GHz with 2GB mem.) and they all do it; I am accessing
a collection on a NAS mounted as a samba device.
Having bought a SSD drive based EEE to act as a jukebox, I would like to
reduce the disk access to zero, so as not to wear out the flash drive. Any
ideas?
Thanks, Geoff
