[Banshee-List] problem syncing 60GB iPod

I have a 70+ GB music library and a 60GB iPod. I wiped the iPod and want to
use Banshee to sync from now on.

This workflow makes the most sense to me:
1. I created a static playlist called "not ipod"
2. I created a Smart Playlist called "ipod" containing everything in my
library that isn't in the "not ipod" playlist
3. I then added enough to the "not ipod" list that the "ipod" list was below
my available space on my ipod.
4. Finally, I added everything from "ipod" to my actual iPod and Banshee
started working to load my iPod.

This seemed like a really great and efficient way to manage my iPod. The
initial load took a long time, but it was moving over 55GB of data so that's
to be expected.

After finishing the sync I later tried to play some albums on my iPod and
found some problems. Many albums are listed correctly and even have their
artwork but trying to play them just skips them. There are A LOT like this.

I remounted my iPod found a "bad" track in Banshee looked at it's properties
and realized the file pointed to by the full path didn't exist.

Anyone else seen this or know why or how to fix it? Does that workflow seem
reasonable? I really don't want to boot up my XP vm just to sync my iPod.

I would like to thank the Banshee team though. I use it all day at work and
it handles my 70GB music library over a samba mount like a champ.
