Re: [Banshee-List] ipod fixes

Hey all,

I've seen quite a few people having issues with iPods over the last
few months.  I borrowed a couple devices from Aaron and have been
testing and fixing things this week.  There are two issues already
fixed:

1) If you have your device plugged in when you bootup it wouldn't get
scanned properly by podsleuth and so Banshee wouldn't see it until you
unplugged/replugged it in.  This is fixed in podsleuth trunk, see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488209

2)  With the iPod Classic and Nano Video, if you synced more than
around 300 songs (the exact number depends on how much metadata you
have), your device would suddenly say it had zero songs/videos.  This
has been fixed in ipod-sharp trunk; see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53674

We're pushing at 110% of our normal 110% this week and next to get a
release out and lots of features in.  As always, file bugs, write
patches, bug us if your progress is blocking on us, etc.

Please remember to send a formal notice to your translators..

Also is there any hope you might fix the podcast syncing now that you are on the pain train that is iPod support?
