[Banshee-List] Idea: Beagle/Tracker/filesystem monitor plugin

I know the Filesystem Monitor plugin is/was broken [1] but I'm wondering what it would take to get something like this (eventually) into SVN (or working with SVN as a plugin). I seem to recall that a big reason for this not working was a problem with the Mono filesystem monitoring components, but I wonder about its current state.

Any ideas?
