Anyway, how is someone supposed to develop a UI for the nokia N800.
Is there any good emulator?

I have placed two of the most important and Mono-related SoC projects

Because we were not accepted directly, we can only accept a very small
number of applications for Banshee under Mono. I was hoping to also be
able to place one or two mostly GStreamer related projects under
GStreamer if we were not accepted, but GStreamer didn't make it either,
