[Banshee-List] importing aac errors

Hey all,

I'm trying to use faac to encode some wave files (gentoo)

I have 

1. banshee 0.11.7 (with USE="aac")
2. gst...faac
3. gst...faad

all installed

The files are encoded MySong.aac (not m4p) and work when I use "open
location". I try to import the folder (or the song for that matter), it
fails....

I'm searching around for "import aac" etc, not finding much other than
the occasion user with the drm-protected issues wrt aac.

Any thoughts? I know i'm missing something stupid here....
