Hello,
I am new to banshee and am having some trouble with the following. my generic mp3 is recognized by banshee (very nice!) via .is_audio_player. I can drag and drop files from my library to my generic mp3 player (also very good). I can also download podcasts from the internet (also great) and copy them to my mp3 player.
however, one podcast i listen to has some strange characters in the saved file so when i try to copy it, it fails. I am sure this is the problem because amarok gives a full error of what is going on.
the only setting i could find that might affect this is in Edit -> Preferences. there it tells you the location of the library etc and "File System Organization" where you can specify the folder hierarchy, filename etc. however, my settings don't seem to be respected.
is there something i can do about this?
