Hello everyone,
The situation here is similar as described by Pette.

I see the ipod icon in banshee (so all the things described in
http://banshee-project.org/Troubleshooting/iPod work). I have the latest version (0.11.3-28.4
from
http://software.opensuse.org/download/Banshee/openSUSE_10.2/)
Songs can be dragged and dropped to the ipod (I imported them from a standard Audio CD and will try now with a very old CD guaranteed without any copy protection stuff).
The ipod icon shows the song. I click on <synchronize ipod> and then after the selection (synchronize library or save manual changes) the sync screen comes up for a second or two and then there is no more song on the ipod visible.
Interesting is, that after all I read in the Preferences there should be "DAAP" or something like that in the "Output Format" options for importing CDs - right? I don't have that even though I have
mbrasse sandmann:~/Documents/Software/banshee> rpm -qa banshee-plugins-DAAP
banshee-plugins-DAAP-0.11.3-28.4
installed.
If I run banshee --debug from a command prompt and in another terminal window ipod no entries are visible there at all. Only on banshee startup I see something else which might be wrong:
mbrasse sandmann:~/Documents/Software/banshee> LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/banshee mono --debug /usr/lib/banshee/banshee.exe
Debug: [1/11/2007 11:31:57 PM] (Loading audio profiles) - /usr/share/banshee/audio-profiles

Setting MusicBrainz proxy to
www.musicbrainz.org:80
In the last line it says "DAP has not been added" - could that mean something?
Another question, is there any debugging/ logging tool or option in ipod-sharp?
Thanks for any help on this.
Cheers
Micha
