Gnome bugzilla has the keyword gnome-love built into its capabilities
in a special way. For those not familiar with this, it is meant for, I
quote:
"Marking a bug with this keyword means that you're willing to help
someone fix the bug, or that it should be fixable by a beginner
without any help. This should ONLY be set by a maintainer or people
familiar with the code base, and ONLY when it looks like a project
suitable for a new developer looking for a task."
Anyway, in the interest of bringing those bugs to the top that are
good for beginners, I present this report which I also added to the
Developers page:
http://snipurl.com/1b3nb
Also handy to note, if you see the symbol of the crossed band-aids,
that means that a patch has been submitted. It may still need some
attention though. The heart symbol indicates the gnome-love keyword on
the bug.
This is a bit of an experiment. To some degree it is dependent on the
devs marking bugs with the gnome-love keyword, but since some are
already, I don't think this will be a big deal. If you know of some
others that might qualify for the gnome-love keyword toss them here or
suggests the keyword in the bug for a dev to add.
Have fun,
JSR/
